Walking

A number of local walks are possible from the house itself, or a short drive takes you to the top of the Quantocks where there are numerous other walking routes with breathtaking views.

Carnival

In November Bridgwater is home to the Guy Fawkes Carnival which is one of the largest illuminated carnivals in the world.

Day Trips

Enmore is ideally located for day-trips to the historic towns of Bridgwater, Taunton, Glastonbury, Cheddar, Weston Super-Mare and Wells. In addition, a number of excellent tourist attractions are possible day-trips including Wookey Hole Caves, Tropaquaria, Longleat Safari Park and Brean Down.

Activities

Lexworthy Farmhouse is less than a mile away from Enmore Golf Course. Other activities available in the local area include horse-riding, cycling, hiking and fishing.
